Handcrafted by an Afghan refugee in a village rug cooperative in the Peshawar, Pakistan region, this rug is handwoven with wool warps and wefts.  This flat weave style of rug is known as a Kilim.  It features a traditional tribal pattern. 

It measures 2'7 1/2" x 4'2" including the fringe.
